Format: Please film in portrait (vertical) mode — most viewers will watch on phones.
Microphone: If you have a good quality mic that is best but otherwise use your phone mic. Please avoid noisy environments and do speak up.
Background: Choose a simple, well-lit setting (natural light works best). Avoid clutter.
Framing: Keep your head and shoulders in shot. Leave a little space above your head. Think passport photo, etc.
Delivery:
Start by reading your heading (e.g. “Bias and Discrimination”).
Then read your section naturally. Don’t worry if it isn’t word-perfect. You are very free to change the script or improvise as you feel. Each person's section will take less than 60 seconds.
Please look at the camera when talking.
Subtitles: These will be added in editing — just speak clearly at a steady pace.
Clothing/appearance: Scrubs or Workwear is better. Avoid busy patterns that distract.
